Born and raised in Seattle, WA, my makeup journey began in 2010 with the sheer passion to help women embrace and enhance their natural beauty. My mother gave me a $250 gift card to M.A.C and my aunt left me with the words “follow your passion, never the money”. With those two things in hand, I created Burton Beauty By Neikia LLC.
With over 11 years as an experienced and trained artist, I’ve been blessed to work for brands such as Clinique, M.A.C and Bobbi Brown to name a few. Working for one the largest retailers in the country, Nordstrom, has allowed me to meet and glam women from all walks of life.

I truly love what I do, and even more, I love the impact I make with a swirl of a brush! I want to ensure that every woman that sits in my chair feels beautiful from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave. Every women deserves a luxury makeup experience. WHERE DOES THE NAME COME FROM?
Beauty is not defined by the blackest eyeliner, the longest lash, or even the perfect foundation match. The essence of beauty is passed down from generation to generation.
When creating the look, the feel, and even the name of my brand, I wanted to incorporate the essence of my grandmother's beauty, the gentle touch of my mothers hand, and the endless humor of my aunts.
Mary Jane Burton was my grandmother's maiden name! I am my grandmother’s wildest dreams and so to pay homage to all that I am, “Burton Beauty” is what I share with the world!
